Our Process:

We begin with an initial no-charge consultation at your home to determine your needs, objectives and timelines.
This includes a walk-through from attic to basement and garage to determine the scope of the project.
We then make recommendations and schedule a return date to begin the downsizing process with you.

We proudly serve Bucks County, Pennsylvania but we also work in Montgomery County and Hunterdon and Mercer Counties in New Jersey. Even if your home town is outside of this geographical area, please contact us

Our Services:

Sorting – Carter’s main service is helping families and individuals sort through years of household accumulation to determine what to keep, donate, discard and sell.
Selling – Whether it is through our large network of auction houses, antique dealers, estate sale companies or collectors we can help you get many different items of value sold.
Donating – We work with numerous local charitable organizations and help you bag, box, haul and coordinate donation of your unwanted household items including kitchenware, home décor, gently used furniture and much more.
Disposal – Be it a cargo-van load or multiple on-site dumpsters we can assist with disposal of your household debris. This includes things like un-donatable furniture, mattresses, paint and even disabled refrigerators.
Partial to Full House Cleanouts – If you are on the front, middle or even back-end of your project we can remove and find new homes for everything from a few items in a garage to a full household.

Electronic Recycling – Carter’s is partnered with several electronic waste recycling companies and can assist with removal and proper disposal of all types of obsolete computer and stereo components including old printers, fax machines, VCR’s amplifiers, routers, modems, telephones and much more.
Shredding – Carter’s works closely with an accredited shredding company to handle destruction of all of your most confidential documents.
Coordinating – In addition to the many home downsizing service we offer Carter’s works with trusted partner businesses of which we often refer to our clients including handymen, house cleaners, landscapers, painters, piano movers, realtors, and other professionals.
